Some TreeFam MySQL Tables Empty

I have gained access to the TreeFam MySQL server and, within the 91 tables of the database, only 48 of them actually have data (as in rows). The rest are just empty table shells. If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has any reassurances about this, that would be great.
Thanks.

    Dear Aine,

Yes, it is expected that many tables are empty. The database has the same schema as Ensembl Compara, which defines tables to store whole-genome alignments, and many other types of analyses
