Failed to connect to TreeFam MySQL server
Dear Miss/Mr./PhD
I have problem to connect to TreeFam MySQL server.
Below are command and error message:
$ mysql -hmysql-treefam-public.ebi.ac.uk -P4418 -u treefam_ro ERROR 2003 (HY000): Can't connect to MySQL server on 'mysql-treefam-public.ebi.ac.uk' (111)
The command "mysql" works well on connecting to other database, so there might have problems on either parameters or MySQL server.
Could you help me to see what I could do next.

Sorry to hear you had some trouble connecting to the database. Would you mind trying again ? It seems to be working now (tried from a couple of machines, incl. some outside our network), it could have been just a transient error.
